A friend will bail you out of jail.  A real friend will be right there beside you laughing, "wow that was fun!"

A friend will help you move.  A real friend will help  you move a body!

Hehee!

And hey...am I postwhoring enough for you?  *g*

Seriously...just tell me to stop if it's annoying.  lol.   I'm mostly just trying to play to corinthian's ingrained, male sense of competition (i.e. the fear of being outdone by anyone *g*).

Laughs

I think you are doing just great TMG!  I was referring to my statement about a real friend would help you move a body and your axe murderer comment!

I am really glad you are here!

*hugs*

There are friends and then...... there are friends....

Real life friends, penpals, online friends, it's all about a gut feeling and the trust that you develop.  t's the trust to me that defines true friendship.

There are those I would call friends in my day to day life that I wouldn't trust with personal details.  They're still friends, we have a great time together but there is the question of my privacy which I don't cross.  There are those who know every little thing there is to know about me.  They're also friends....

There are those I know on the soon to be recovered RC site that I would trust totally.  I've looked beyond the name of the site and actually looked at the people that contribute and the worth and values that they bring to it.   would trust a couple of people here more than I would at a site of the Southern Australia Cross Stitching Association chat room.      :D

I've been blessed to talk to some lovely people on this site and there are those I'd love to get to know a lot better.

I'm not quite sure where I'm going with my comments but I hope ya'll get the general meaning.  ::):

Ditto about the on-off line friends.  And I am soooo glad you don't axe-murder ANYONE.  As for the off topic stuff, hellifino.

Heh...I don't recall saying "anyone".   *g*

;)

Alas...there've been plenty of people I *wished* I could axe murder.  *sigh*

I've never had much urge to axe-murder.  Now strangle?  There are some folks I get the urge to strangle.  ;D
So much oppression in our culture is based on shame about sex: the oppression of women, of cultural minorities, oppression in the name of the (presumably asexual) family, oppression of sexual minorities. We are all oppressed. We have all been taught, one way or another, that our desires, our bodies, our sexualities, are shameful. What better way to defeat oppression than to get together in communities and celebrate the wonders of sex?

hmm, perhaps I should post it for everyone to see? I did on RC but then it crashed.

I don't think the forum could handle the weight of it!
