I just read today that as of July 5, 2023, actress Alison Mack, involved in the notorious NXIVM sex trafficking cult scandal received an early release from federal prison. She received a 3-year sentence in 2021, after pleading guilty to various charges such as extortion and forced labor, considerably less than the 14 to 17 years she could have gotten. But prosecutors made a plea deal with her for her cooperation in testifying against the cult leader Keith Raniere. Alison was considered to be one of his top recruiters in the cult. He is currently serving a 120-year sentence and is NOT getting out any time soon!
