I think both are hosted by TMD. I'd really recommend Epik these days. They are much better in regards to freedom and know how to differentiate between reality and fiction.

There's currently a huge crackdown on anything that is viewed as going against accepted norms, such as sub-18 sexual stuff in written fiction. I personally hate any kind of censorship on written fiction, but these people are loud speakers and many hosts on the Web heed their angry screams. It sucks, but that's just how it is.

I've opened an account on AO3. It's fandom so it won't fit all my stories, but some of my works are a good fit for AO3. I just posted an improved chapter of "Adèle Blanc-Sec... First-Hand Report on Rhineland Horror" over there. It's fandom, but you can include anything and characters of any ages as long as you include the proper tags.

Finding KB back in 2010 was a life-changer for me. Up until then I wasn't a very happy person. I'd been writing erotic stories for 10 years, but only for myself, I have dozens of looseleaf binders of those stories, only three of which I later Posted on KB.

Sharing my stories on KB and later RU made me feel very happy and more fulfilled in my life. People enjoyed my stories, I've gotten tons of emails over the years about them and it was giving me an opportunity to practice my writing skills and improve them.

I can understand the changes that have been made on KB and RU in the past few years, but I have to admit, the limits put on what we can write has had me depressed since there's only a few types of stories I'm able to write now. I love my "Cougars Making Babies" and "Celeb T-Gurls" stories but it takes the happiness out of writing I once felt just limiting myself to those two genres. Not to mention I get lots of emails asking why I haven't been writing the other types of stories anymore.

What disturbs me the most is they have also extended the new restrictions to non-consent/rape. It is now forbidden to post ANY non-consent stories on KB. That's pretty damn harsh; we're talking about written fiction here, not rape vids. KB is now a LOT more restrictive than even Literotica and has become a vanilla website. The only reason I keep my profile there is Lois has said the contract with that host is expiring later that year and she wants to find a more welcoming host.

I'm against child abuse and any form of abusive behavior, but I'm also for free speech in written fiction. KB just got hit by the Inquisition. (I just learned about non-consent being banned from KB. I'm pretty pissed.)
