From what I understand, a lot of people in the industry knew. It was an open secret, but isn't that the overall problem? There was/is a pervasive culture of that being the norm.

I guess we'll never know. I imagine there are a lot of stars (and other industry insiders) out there that don't want to taint their image by saying they were victims or knew more at the time. He's jailed, never getting out alive and much like Jimmy Saville & Epstein et al , they hope we forget about it.

Much like the Metoo# movement faded away, now they get to keep going until the next time. I suspect the casting couch is still a thing and consequently no agency is going to be there to chaperone their clients for fear of being blacklisted as 'difficult'. And even more so when parents and guardians are at least complicit in it to a degree.
