I thought perhaps I should pay some respects to Robbie Bachman, younger brother of Randy Bachman and also one of the founding members of the iconic Canadian rock group, Bachman Turner Overdrive. He died yesterday at the age of 69.

"You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet" from BTO's 1974 album Not Fragile.

"Let It Ride" from their second album Bachman Turner Overdrive II, released in 1973.

Also from that same album, "Takin' Care Of Business"

I could rape your pussy, but I'd be in and out in a few minutes. So I choose to rape your mind, and I'll be inside you forever!

We know no one is eternal but in my opinion some are taken way to early, Robbie being one of them!

So this man doesn't live by Rock, Pop or country alone, there's times a little jazz soothes the soul. Especially by Jessica LaLonde.

Ridley Bent - I've never heard of them, but as a country band, they're not too bad!

Hot Hot Heat - Wow! I'd completely forgotten these guys even existed! I remember when they came out in the early 2000s. I actually thought they'd broken up after their 3rd album and I wasn't aware they came out with two more albums. But then I didn't follow them that closely.

Jessica Lalonde - I am admittedly, not a big jazz fan, but for some reason, I just love hearing women sing jazz. Most of the female jazz singers I know have such sexy voices, and Jessica is no exception! I've always loved her sound.
