April’s Once and Future Contest
The Once and Future King, published in 1958, was a collection of four reworked novels by T. H. White. The four novels received major revisions from their original publications. These stories were, in turn, updates of the 1485 book Le Morte d’Arthur by Sir Thomas Malory.
What has this to do with our monthly contest, a lot. You have your choice of any story you have published in the past. The story can be any length. You may enter it as is or do a rework of the work. I suggest reworks (in keeping with the theme) to identifying that said story is a rework, put one of the following words in the title, Reworked, Reimagined, Redux, Redo, Re-envisioned.
No writing prompts this month.
Pick your favorite or your least beloved story, post as is, or better still, as you wanted it to be.
