Our next writing contest begins Monday, March 1st, 2021, and is open until Wednesday, March 31st, 2021. It may be up to 10,000 words with no minimum. It should be the first posting of the story, and please refrain from posting elsewhere until after the end of the contest. Other than those restrictions, let your imagination run wild.
Prompts to use or discarded are as follows.
A double date between two college-aged couples goes a little too well. When best friends realize they prefer each other’s new boyfriends over their current boyfriends.
Two people who used to date, and even though the sex was amazing, their relationship was toxic. They ended the relationship, but perhaps, they should give it one more go, for old time’s sake. Does it all go perfect, a little sideways, or a complete disaster?
Write a tale of love at first sight that’s one-sided and dangerous for the disinterested party.
