For most Sean Connery WAS James Bond, Ian Fleming's British super spy. However his work wasn't just made up of seducing beauyiful women and getting cool gadgets from "Q."

Searn Connery spanned a Fifty plus year career with some truly memorable Roles.

90 is a long and fulfilling Life. But I'm STILL going to MISS Sean Connery.....

Sean Connery was awesome in The Hunt for Red October, but it was a little disconcerting having a Soviet submarine captain with a Scottish accent.

A few of my other favorite movies of his, other than of course the James Bond ones,  are:

Highlander

The Rock

The Presidio

The Untouchables

The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen

and as Indiana Jones' dad in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade

oh and a 1981 sci-fi movie called Outland. He was pretty good in that too.

You hit most all of My favorite Sean Connery roles. He was also amazing in "Finding Forrester," as the reclusive author. Sean Connery was among the few Actors whom despite his accent and appearance, could and did disappear into a role he was portraying.......

But he will ALWAYS be "James Bond" to Me......

Well said! Prepare for the next Bond to be black and transgender. And won't have a gun. They'll engage in a "non-threatening" dialogue and bring in the social workers to counsel the supervillain, determine that he is a victim of patriarchy and aggressive colonialism, and then that the British government should award him reparations for destroying his world domination machine.

Finding Forester is a good movie.  I know you'll enjoy it.

Outland, mentioned above, was a remake reinvisioning of High Noon.

I like Sean Connery and his many and varied roles. I particularly liked his portrayal of Foster in Finding Foster. I think some of his best roles had nothing to with action adventure. First Knight, A Good Man in Africa, the Friar Baskerville in The Name of Rose are great movies and the fist ones I saw him in. I loved him in The Man Who Would be King.
