I set voting (If I'm doing this right) to time one per member. Especially since we have so few writers this month. I also have it where voters can change their vote. I don't know if this will work or not. Its my first time.

Thanks Millie. Got mine in.  Let me say regardless of the outcome, they were all fantastic stories.  All of the ladies did an incredible job.  There are no losers here.

Excuse me for someone handling her first contest you are doing a fantastic job. if the voters couldn't search for the story then they really didn't want to read or vote for it to begin with!- and that's my two cents!

Thanks, I can organize 13 investigations, supervise 26 investigators, and shuffle reams of reports at one time, I should be able to handle posting a little poll.

All of the stories are excellent so I’m very confident a worthy story will win.

The poll seems to have run it's course. I think starting with March's contest, we'll limit the voting to the first 15 days of the month.

Better hurry and ask more friends to vote. First and Third place are dead ties, with little ole me on the ass end (as usual). I don't know how we get more people to vote, but we need to.

And don't take the ass end comment as a complaint. I'm an acquired taste and my cup of tea on this writing isn't everyone else cup of tea on reading, I get that.

I do have a complaint, it's a beef with the members that are either uninformed about the contest or just don't bother to vote. Come on, y'all, get busy, read and vote. These women have poured their souls, well their minds at least, into these stories. The best thing you can do for them, is read and vote. Therefore, read and vote. You want to do your best for them, don't you?

can't we just say all 5 are winners? .. i would be honored to share this with everyone. just the fact that people voted for all the stories should tell us that each and every one of them are worth being read. but if we need just one winner .. i will happily withdraw my story .. so that those 4 who voted for it .. can choose another one

It's kinda like picking which one of my kids I love the most, LOL!  But I made my vote and I'm happy. I feel that just having ALL five of these wonderful women nominated says so much about the quality of stories we get to read here on RU!
