It's easy really. You can lurk a little and just post in the topics that interest you, or you can be more forward and post about yourself and what you're into. It's up to you. The main thing is to have fun, make friends and express yourself in a non-judgemental forum!

Welcome to the U Irish. Hope you find the learning curve to your liking. Just take things at your own speed and don't feel like you have to jump in with both feet unless you want to. Whatever makes you feel comfortable.

Especially if what makes you feel comfortable is being ravished by a bunch of rapists. Coz that's going to happen anyway.
