And hmmm....yes, I'm beginning to wonder, myself. A 9 or 10 hour delay? Of course, we really only have the word of the man who was watching the movie that he *wasn't* watching it just then, or all night. So it's possible that there was no real delay, or that it was much shorter. We can't really know for sure. Still...what others have brought up is perfectly true. Even if the sword-wielder didn't have a phone, he could easily have gone to a neighbor's apartment and used theirs.
I still feel myself wanting to give the intruder the benefit of the doubt, if he really thought he was saving someone (and my paranoid mind is wondering if the police checked every inch of the apartment...I've read too many stories, too, where men will dig holes in the floor or keep women captive in crawlspaces).
And the title of the movie both makes me laugh *and* makes me think there's more validity to the man's concerns than the apartment owner might have indicated. "Casa de Culo" means "House of Ass". So...it sounds like a Spanish anal porno, to me. And I know I'd probably be screaming. *g*
