Yikes.
I want to sort of say that at least she and her family were willing to come forward with it (and not hide it because of the midguided family shame that keeps popping up in some of these countries, as if it's the victim's fault or cross to bear), but I'm not sure punishing herself by setting herself on fire (an action which her father supports?!) is any better.
