RIP Larry Flynt

Another great one has left us. Okay, I didn't actually like a lot of his work. He's the only pornographer I know of who can make pussy look unattractive. But he still accomplished great things for America and the world on a meta-level and was a hundred time the American most of his detractors were. RIP you wonderful bastard.
The rumors about me are scurrilous, depraved rantings of a sick mind, and I categorically deny any sense of falsehood attributed to them.

NOT Larry Flynt too!  :(  :emot_weird.gif:  Yeah gotta say, I was never a huge fan of Hustler magazine, although it was a ground-breaking publication in some ways. LOVED the jokes and the cartoons he had, and his Beaver Hunt section, well that was the go-to place back in the days before internet, where you could see ACTUAL amateur pussy! Some of it was pretty horrid, LOL, but there was some pretty nice ones too!

Like you said, SGH, Larry was more of an American than most of his detractors. He was an ardent supporter and fighter for First Amendment rights to free speech and freedom of expression and a very vocal opponent of censorship! I believe the porno mag industry would have been worse off without him fighting in their corner.  Loved Woody Harrelson's portrayal of him in The People vs. Larry Flynt.
I could rape your pussy, but I'd be in and out in a few minutes. So I choose to rape your mind, and I'll be inside you forever!

Yeah, never liked the magazine (except the barely legal series). But the man. He did start off dirt poor and built an empire. A true example of the American Dream. No 400 million dollar loans from dad. And when he gets shot and paralyzed, he's just "get me a gold wheelchair to tool around".

Filmgoers don't see such Hustler features as "Dirty Pool," which in January 1983 depicted a woman being gang-raped on a pool table. A few months after those pictures were published, a woman was gang-raped on a pool table in New Bedford, Mass.

Flynt's response to the crime was to publish a postcard of another nude woman on a pool table, this time with the inscription "Greetings from New Bedford, Mass. The Portuguese Gang-Rape Capital of America."

Nor do you see such typical Hustler photo stories as a naked woman in handcuffs who is shaved, raped and apparently killed by guards in a concentration-camp-like setting. You won't meet "Chester the Molester," the famous Hustler cartoon character who sexually stalks girls. (The cartoonist, Dwaine Tinsley, was convicted in 1990 of sexually molesting his daughter.)
There's only one rule in the jungle: when the lion's hungry, he eats.

Unfortunately, the publications forays into rape fantasy and bondage were very few and far between. Another reason I didn't go much for his actual publications. Even so, gotta admire the man.
