Hello Everyone,

First, I hope that you're all doing well and staying safe.

There was a post in the lolicon area which I have heavily modified - http://ravishu.com/forums/index.php?topic=48175.0

In the preface to the story the author states that "Nowadays I make money helping men kidnap and rape young girls".  To me this is a clear violation of our rules and I have removed that comment from the post.  I've also removed all the links to an outside site that were, in my humble opinion, a very photorealistic portrayal of underage abuse.

I believe that we have authors that have posted stories involving underage subject matter that is within the bounds of the 1 amendment, but I'm concerned that recently there has been postings of images that put us at risk.  As deepfake images are getting better and better in terms of how they appear I wonder if we should ban images of that nature.

Regarding the lolicon area, I think it needs to be heavily moderated for content.

What do you think?

Thanks for your input.

Regards

I'll just copy and paste what I said in the other thread:

Quote
I mean, I'm of the opinion that you should ban loli images all-together. It's such a slippery slope with what looks "real" and what doesn't, and not a very comfortable thought either - that pornographic images of supposedly underage people being so real-looking that they could be mistaken for real children...

There are places that have loli-images on the internet, let those sites be those sites, and let's not have that here.

To be honest, that is an area that I simply have no interest in, but I would  think that anything that puts the site at risk should not be tolerated at all.  Just my humble opinion.

I think that we need to hear from Bubbles, who moderates the Lolicon board.  For myself I like artistic Lolicon images and they have been around quite a while.  A compromise would be to limit future posts in Lolicon to writing and to restrict lolicon art to art appreciation.

Unfortunately, that's not much of a compromise, as the images and their lifelikeness is the issue here.

Most computer-generated images are easy to spot; they have a very "artificial" look to them. Those that aren't easy to spot, the mantra is simple: if in doubt, take it out.

CG or not, it's also an issue with laws. Loli images are banned in some countries, meaning people from those countries can't visit this site without committing a crime, sometimes equaling that of actual cp in severity -- something not mentioned in the landing page for this forum, by the way.

I don’t like to judge, I do practice the concept of don’t like,  don’t view, but recently this year the UA content has blown out of order and when you are beginning to lose regular authors( i know 3, that have jumped ship for this reason)  on principle then we need to ask ourselves is this RU anymore?

I know Underage comes hand in hand with rape and I will accept anything in the right context.
I see no problem with a story with an underage character
However I see a problem with an underage character as the selling point of the story.

We are opening up our community to

1) a total shut down by the agencies
2) a huge online witch hunt and attack from the Qanon group, don’t agree with them but if they are going after toys and kids shows with so called pedo symbolism then what hope has this site got.
3) losing more and more authors in exchange for shady faceless readers who are coming here for one reason and we all know what that is.

My personal opinion is that Lollicon hasn’t worked and if anything it’s brought more badness onto the table rather than under it.
We have Extreme section for extreme stories I don’t see having a special place for the little ones is doing this site and most of its community any favors

I don’t mean to disrespect any authors that write that material I appreciate many of AmandaBlonde’s works but also the lollicon section puts in genuine writers in that section right on the firing line also

I am so on board with what Jessica is saying. I open a story in gang rape section and see images of young girls, then their rape follows. Maybe? Or not...I think as a practicing Sexual abuse doctor, that there is no place for this on any site. But that's just my professional opinion. I do realize that fantasy does not constitute a crime. If my colleagues knew that rape stories turn me on, they would be stunned. Or maybe they do too? Who is to say? A fantasy is just that.....and our stories are supposed to be based on fantasy. But when our fantasies involve underage victims..I do not condone "loli stories or fantasies" period.

I can go into great depth, but I won't about how many people find themselves fantasizing about loli rape  and progress to actually acting upon it. Suffice t to say, it's far greater than those who fantasize about older rape. I too know at least 3 people, great authors who contributed often to this site, that have left because of the flood of underage smut. And, I've considered it too. But, I also like to not leave people I've grown to love and appreciate. Hopefully Lois gets a hold of this and squashes it before others leave.

Hello,

I also would be interested in what bubbles feels about this subject.

In honesty I will have to say that one of the reasons I came here at first was the lack of an age limit on the stories.  Having to change the 'real' age of characters has become increasingly annoying to me as I grow older.   That said if there is a change in the rules I will certainly abide by them and also keep coming here because of the excellent authors so lucky to have.

Being here only to write and read and not making use of graphics in my stories I have no opinion on the graphic art aspects of this issue.

This is an awesome place.  Thank you all for everything you do.

This is primarily a story site, images are not that important.

The lolicon images are getting far to realistic for my taste.  When I first thought about underage images I thought of Hentai, or sexully explicit Anime, which in no way can be thought of as real.  I have no problems with Hentai so far as the images are of seuxually mature individuals, but lolicon renders are another matter.

I think it is time to ban lolicon images from the site because they are trying to look real.  Hopefully there is another site that will accept such images so the folks that post them have a place to go.

So much oppression in our culture is based on shame about sex: the oppression of women, of cultural minorities, oppression in the name of the (presumably asexual) family, oppression of sexual minorities. We are all oppressed. We have all been taught, one way or another, that our desires, our bodies, our sexualities, are shameful. What better way to defeat oppression than to get together in communities and celebrate the wonders of sex?

I'm on board with this.  I don't like having to restrict artistic freedom but at the same time we have to protect the site and the community.  Plus, there's a lot of us that aren't comfortable with the anime stuff but let it slide because it was obviously a fake and no one was hurt.  Besides, this is mostly a story site.  There's millions of places to look at pictures but not many places left to read.

My views on the images and content in general have been already made known to moderators and various writers here already. There isn't a great need for such content and I thing banning any underage content to such a section is the only thing needed to prevent members from such content. I don't deem total censorship just the same consideration for the material that extreme, gay or lesbian stories receive!

I have not noticed a jump in undersage stories, but I think we should ban images from stories.

Are there any underage stories that are of persons that are not sexually mature?  Or stories that are in really bad taste?  Let me know and I will take a look.

My first thought about underage stories is that I was 14 or 15 when I started having rape fantasies.  Also, who hasnt had a fantasy about raping cheerleaders?  They are cetainly in the 16-17 age group.

I read an extreme pedo story once on Soren's old rape story site after it had been taken over by Lorelei.  It was about a guy that had multiple marriages and impregnated his wives so he could rape the infants, which always resulted in the death of the infant.  To this day I'm not sure if this was the guy's fantasy, or if he was just trolling us.

I feel guilty as it was my post that started this discussion.  My post was actually fantasy but it excited me to make it seem real.  I have learned my lesson and thank the administrators for the guidance.

Lots of stories have underage characters that are not sexually mature. The majority don't fall into this category, but there's certainly a bunch of them. I did not know this was a problem? Rape and murder and gore is allowed...

I think it's a disservice to call something like that a "fantasy", since that has a connotation of being something that he would want to experience in real life (although I don't know what word to use in its stead). But sure, I'm positive he got something out of thinking about it.

My "fantasies" are very much driven by extreme horror themes, but I have the same disconnection to them as I do to horror movies. It's not real and that is why I enjoy them.

Don't. The discussion would have come up either way, it has been looming for a while, I feel like.
