Are you trying to upload from your computer or is it linked to somewhere else?
What's the resolution on the pic?  Maybe try downsizing it?

I just upload direct to here. No faffing around, no middlemen.

Some image hosts refuse to allow direct links, so it could be that. I always use https://imgur.com. Most solid image host. Hosts stuff forever, too.

I always right click and go "copy image address", but you can use the bbcode one and just remove the [img] tags (also, don't forget to change the https).

It worked this time Grumpy. I did what you suggested and just right-clicked and hit "copy image address". I think before I was trying to use the wrong link off imgur. I was using "image link" and that wouldn't work. But your way did. Thank you! I am copying your instructions and SAVING them so I don't forget and have to go through this again!

Well that part I had figured out, as it gave me issues the last time I changed my avatar pic and then I found out to change it to http and it worked. That's why this time I was puzzled when I was doing that but it still wasn't working. Turned out this time I was using a wrong link.
