Y'know what? Let's put it in a separate thread in Consensual Stories for now; moderation can make a judgment call to a better location if they need to. (Don't want to clog up this one for starters, plus free preview for everyone here, maybe.)

Army wouldn't it be easier to make a new topic  on the main literature page at the bottom for all to post into. Then you only have to collect from one topic every thing at one? Call it "Extinguishing the Flames!"

I think everyone might appreciate an update on the book.

As it stands, I have included and edited five stories from four authors (I included two of my own, for the record), and half-written an introduction. So, along with any other stories that others want to include, I just need to finish the intro and make a proper title page. And that's from the past week and a half.

Now, I'm sorry to rush anyone who is still writing, but I am hoping to have the story list at least finalised by the end of the month (that's in nine days here). I want to aim for nine or ten stories in the book, so that it has a decent length to it.

Okay, so the cut-off for submissions was 42 1/2 hours ago as of posting, however I've formatted what has been submitted already and the book comes to 80 pages (including title page, contents and intro, at A5 page size). Yes, I will still try to get it to publication, which should hopefully be on Saturday, however if you still want to submit (Jessica_33, I'm looking at you here), I should be able to include it before then.

Also, it is getting retitled, per CHG's suggestion, to "Extinguishing the Flame".

That's okay. Book's still not in yet (I was supposed to do it today, but work kind of got in the way at the last minute, and YK's tidying up the cover a bit), so if you have a story ready to go, I could possibly include it still.

He's a little crazy busy right now, so I will finish the cover now.  I'm still laughing at him at his spelling mistake :)
