Magic Monkey - don't think I've ever heard of such a show!

The Avalanches - quite a cacophony going on in that song, but I kind of enjoyed it.

Hunnu Guren - Good Lord! and here I thought the Scots were the only ones with bagpipes! LOL. Took a bit of getting used to, but was sort of interesting stuff. Can't say I'd ever listened to Mongolian throat singing before , but now I can!
I could rape your pussy, but I'd be in and out in a few minutes. So I choose to rape your mind, and I'll be inside you forever!

I really had to toss up which track to do from these guys. Do I do their cover of a TV theme, which solos all the instruments, but forgoes lyrics, or the one which has all the vocalists (including one of the trumpeters)?

Why not both?

Have to sat did prefer "Satellite" more than the "Theme of Get Smart" Seems 'Satellite' was more original than 'Get Smart'. Both were great to the first time listener but to me 'Satellite' had a more impressive presentation to it! They both still get a merit from me but 'Satellite' gets if first!

I was originally going to go with just Satellite, but then had a bit of a rethink. Escher was on the list too, but decided against it because only half the band was there for the clip.

well this is another introduction that has me searching for more of them. With the help of Norton VPN, I can get onto Youtube Australia  as long as the artist isn't blocked to foreigners! So much new music to discover which greatly pleases me!

Interesting song and I agree that i need a break in the weather myself. Not sure if I had heard of her before or not but do plan to listen to more by her as the night progress! Super merit worthy!

Okay, this one's a more recent addition to the Internal iPod. Given the age range of members here, I'm sure we could all name a version of this song, be it the Donna Summer original, the numerous remixes, the Bronski Beat mash-up with "Johnny Remember Me", or the cover by Sam Smith (or any of the myriad others).

But I bet this one ain't on that list.

Well you win the bet where I'm concern. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that I have never heard that cover and wished to god it would have stayed that way! Merit from me for opening tears in my ears!

Well based on what he posted after I put up a sea shanty- apparently Vile8r isn't!

his reply!

I would say he doesn't appreciate a good song when he hears one! but I love them and have merited you for posting

I have to say I have no idea what your mind saw in "Slice Of Heaven" either, hopes it never sees it again!
