Can You Make Do
Leave my body broke and blue
My soul found fractured into two
I stood and fell with every word
Your hallowed voice was all I heard
I worshiped you and all you had
Your strength, your mind
And all your bad
But even when I stop to think
Of pain and love and all I keep
You're gone and I am all alone
On my own and going home
Walking I have no hum left
Nor laugh nor shine
I am bereft
Of you.
