This is not yet even a first draft. I simply had an idea (half fan-fiction, half reinterpretation of what's already been done) and cranked out a potential idea for the prologue.
I'm oddly excited given that this is the first new piece I've started in 8 months and wanted to share.

Ultimately, she came willingly; I just had to light her way.
It’s already been written about more than once, and I’m quite aware that it will be again.
Ah, of course; you must be wondering how I know that when I’m writing now and those were written then.
Well, I have-to keep some secrets, now don’t I?
Regardless, I’m well-aware that my time in this world is growing short, and it’s time to place my own imprint on things.
This is how it really happened.
