Told from husband's view. Wife opens up about being abused by her father and his friends. How he treated her like nothing while drinking or watching TV. She asks husband to roleplay her violent fantasies and has to send wife to the hospital several times. At first, he jokes about it to paramedics saying she fell down the stairs and/or liked it rough. As the hospital visits continue and injuries get worse they look at him with scorn.
The father returns and husband comes home to find wife dead (I believe by hanging) while father and friends drink, smoke, watch sports. The story started with him monologuing about how he was in prison but that he was innocent and ends with him believing he deserves to be in prison for not helping wife.
