A surprising number of survivors of real rape find us.  Some find a way of processing what happened to them here, although that is not the purpose of this site.  This thread is to help rape survivors find other sites that may help them.

The first site I would suggest is RAINN (Rape Abuse & Incest National Network)
http://www.rainn.org/

This link is to a page at Aphrodite Wounded.  It appears to be a comprehensive list of sites that can help rape survivors:

My best wishes to all rape survivors for healing.

If anyone knows of other resources for rape survivors please feel free to post them here.

So much oppression in our culture is based on shame about sex: the oppression of women, of cultural minorities, oppression in the name of the (presumably asexual) family, oppression of sexual minorities. We are all oppressed. We have all been taught, one way or another, that our desires, our bodies, our sexualities, are shameful. What better way to defeat oppression than to get together in communities and celebrate the wonders of sex?
