Rule about deleting posts *sigh*
« on: January 21, 2009, 10:30:15 PM »
When members sign up to this forum they grant a non-exclusive license to Ravishment University to all the original threads, stories, etc. they post here.  This means they can post their stories elsewhere (non-exclusive).  But it also means that in exchange for being part of this community they agree to not suddenly withdraw this license in a snit without attempting to resolve their problems with staff.  Nor can they suddenly delete their accounts and then demand that all their threads be deleted.

Because certain privileges on this forum are based on post count, deleting entire threads is not fair to your fellow members as it may remove their posts also.  Accordingly, you are not permitted to remove your posts from RU without a compelling reason (please talk to staff!).

Remember that RU is a community, and removing your stories, games, threads, etc. hurts all of us.  Therefore anyone caught removing their posts without first trying to resolve their problems with staff will have their accounts deleted so they can no longer sabotage this community.  They may of course, re-register and are not banned.
So much oppression in our culture is based on shame about sex: the oppression of women, of cultural minorities, oppression in the name of the (presumably asexual) family, oppression of sexual minorities. We are all oppressed. We have all been taught, one way or another, that our desires, our bodies, our sexualities, are shameful. What better way to defeat oppression than to get together in communities and celebrate the wonders of sex?

If you post on the internet it is never erased even if it is apparently "deleted" from a board.

The internet archive shows that at 06:25 PM December 07, 2007 there were 6 Guests, 10 Users active on the site.

It's a spambot (there's been a few recently) but they're ineffectual here. They autopost things along the lines of "that article was informative and well written". Typically there is a link included, which for some reason has been missing from the spam posts, whether from the spam bots being defective or something about the way the forum is set.

There were three accounts, all registered at IP addresses in Thailand.  All are banned now.

I think I see 4 user names?  Two others not in this thread being from March and April in this thread:

How do we get someone else’s post removed if they are using illegally obtained sexually explicit photos of ME from when I was bein trafficked and raped daily?
