A Poem For RU
Though different reasons brought us here,
We sometimes are overcome by fear
To log on in case it’s the last time
We read and write about the common crime
But I’m grateful for the times we’ve had
So many I’ve met though just in words I’m glad,
To call them a major part of my world
A dark secret purple flag unfurled
To all the members, some old and some new
To all those who produce the content we view
Those who argue in the detention hall
Those who place their darkest thoughts and fears on the campus wall
This lady salutes you all,
And there is some I miss being at RU
But just remember I still love you
Those who’ll we’ll never see again
But left their mark on us,forever now and then.
It’s damn rare to make a person feel special
But many here have just done that for me I recall
So carry on reading, writing and making a roleplay, perhaps a few
Posting the pictures, games and music you know who!
Thank you for making this such a place
This dark gal’s go to safe space
RU I salute you, and all those who make it too
We have a lot more so much more to do.
